Driven by the desperate hope for a better life, she made her way to the city, believing it to be a place of opportunity. The sprawling metropolis, however, proved to be just as cold and unforgiving. Without connections or specialized skills, she remained unemployed, her meager savings dwindling with each passing day. From the window of her small, rented room, she began to notice you.
